Electroless Nickel with Teflon

Why Choose Electroless Nickel

  • Ultimate Lubricity: With one of the lowest coefficients of friction available, this coating prevents "galling" and sticking, allowing moving parts to slide effortlessly.
  • Non-Stick Properties: Much like a premium frying pan, this finish resists the buildup of adhesives, plastics, and debris, making it incredibly easy to clean and maintain.
  • Uniform Deposit: Because it is an "electroless" process, the coating is deposited with perfect uniformity over complex geometries, including deep bores and internal threads.
  • Exceptional Wear Resistance: The hard nickel matrix supports the Teflon particles, ensuring that the low-friction properties last even under heavy mechanical loads.

Our Electroless Nickel with Teflon Finishes

  • Standard PTFE Composite: Our most versatile finish, featuring a high concentration of Teflon particles evenly dispersed throughout the nickel matrix. It provides a consistent, self-lubricating surface that eliminates the need for external oils or greases.
  • High-Phosphorus PTFE: Specifically engineered for maximum corrosion resistance in harsh environments. This finish combines the chemical-shielding properties of high-phos nickel with the slickness of Teflon, making it ideal for marine or chemical processing equipment.
  • Precision-Tolerance PTFE: A thin-film application designed for parts with extremely tight clearances. It provides a smooth, low-friction boundary layer without significantly altering the dimensions of intricate components.

Matte Grey PTFE: A non-reflective, charcoal-grey finish often used in tactical or industrial applications where glare reduction and high lubricity are both required
